i have green eyes and blonde hair. any ideas? What kind of makeup for green eyes?
Absolute poppy-cock about not using purple!!!
Green eyes are my most favourite eyes to work on!!!
All the products you can get from your local MAC counter or online!!!
Green being a secondary colour to make them brighter use the other two colours....purple and orange. Use the tone, tint, shade of these colours if these sound to bold to you!
Try using Honey-lust which is an Orange gold with Nocturnal eyeshadow in crease and use Purple dash eyeliner for added pow!!! this would make them glisten like emeralds!
A different look?
Also try using a red lipstick like russian red with neutral eyeshadow, try using Grain eyeshadow with Texture eyeshadow in crease and Liquid liner, corner lashes for addedsaucinesss and a little gloss in the centre of your lip only to give the illusion of fuller sexier pout!!
Green is blue and Yellow mixed together---This leave red being the only primary colour left, its directly opposite to green to make each stand out!! try getting a colour wheel from an arts and crafts shop to have a look its pretty cool when you see what looks best!!!
Hope this helps doll!!!
Shona xxxWhat kind of makeup for green eyes?
i have green eyes.. and ive read a million colours.. I ALWAYS here about PLUMS, PURPLES, LILACS.. i dnt know why that girl said that down there.. read any book and it will go for the purple ish colours.. HAVING SAID THAT purple isnt the best for mine because mine are more yellowy soo blue tends to clash and therefore make them stand out..
my friend whos doing beauty course says never TRY TO match the eyeshadow or liner to your eyes unless you have really really dark brown or bright light blue.. because it was have the opposite effect.. the reason for this is that you will never find the exact right colour and wearing the same colour around your whole eye gives the illusion of smaller eyes.. try 2 different tones of a LIGHT LIGHT blue -ish lilac, ive seen loads of girls wear that ,they also have blonde hair and it looks immense.. i find loads of black tends to make them look darker than they are.. brown is pretty good aswell as long as you dont go around the whole eye... orange and gold make them look more browny and hazel.. clashing colours of the same group tend to make them stand out..
I have green eyes too.... and lots of things work great. As for the whole purple thing, I find that only dark purples look good (Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes in Purple Black is a great choice that is really subtly purple). I also found that Olive Green looks incredible. Urban Decay's 24/7 eye liner in Stash and MAC eyeshadow in Green Smoke are AWESOME! Also a dark charcoal smokey eye looks amazing for night time.
can always use green too...same shade
browns...light...neutral...or dark always works...with some masqara or eyeliner or both
i suggest using the same color as whatever top your wearing...
but mostley browns are great! bring out your eyes :D
play aroudn with it
Deep purples, plums, mauves, lilacs, golds, bronzes, deep greens, coppers, browns, medium pinks, peaches, and apricots are good.
Hope I helped :)
purple looks great on green eyes
it is one of those colors that really makes them pop
oh and u might want to put on some volumizing BLACK mascara
that also really makes them pop
use purple eyeliner on top and bottom, black mascara (lots), and a bit of gold shadow on the lids. light pink gloss will look good too. btw the girl above me is wrong. Purple brings out green eyes. truse me! b/c ur sposed to wear the opposite color of ur eyes but toned down a bit. And the opposite of green is red. So pinks and purples look best with green eyes.
light blue, medium brown, emerald green, lavender purple, white grey

Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Graffiti DEFO!!! You'll supermodel-esque. Underground is softer but will still make them stand out.
DONT use purple as this will clash with your hair
you can use a eyes pencil and elyner green and rimmel black
but no eyeshadow!!
kiss
blues, aqua green..light calming colors...no purples
purple or BROWN really makes them pop
taupe, champgane, and gold would be among my choices for eye shadows.
